Le changement est donc possible.

 Perspective2024

A citizen born in Jacmel approached for the position of interim executive agent of Jacmel

A citizen born in Jacmel approached for the position of interim executive agent of Jacmel

After the arrest of Marky Kessa, the Haitian government is preparing to appoint another citizen as head of the municipality of Jacmel. This time, it would be a child from Jacmel, according to our sources.

The Haitian government reportedly intends to appoint citizen Phanuel Pierre as the next interim executive agent of Jacmel, in place of Lutheran pastor Marky Kessa, arrested last November in connection with the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.
Unlike Kessa, the citizen expected to head the town hall was born in Jacmel. He is very well known in the South-East. Interviewed by PressHaiti, politicians from the Southeast described him as a philanthropist and entrepreneur worthy of the name. Having completed his classical studies at the Alcibiade Pommeyrac center, he has already contributed to improving the living conditions of many people. According to many, hundreds of children were able to go to school thanks to the favors of Phanuel Pierre. According to our sources, he also helped build houses for economically weak people in several places in the country, particularly in the South-East. He contributed to the creation of a foundation, which is currently working on renovating a school and assisting elderly people in the Sodec area. Phanuel Pierre is also a job creator. He established a school and a church in Meyer, Jacmel. At Fond Alexis, he is building a complex, including a landmark hotel. Responsible for an evangelical mission, he established nearly 60 churches in several departments, including the South-East and Grand'Anse. His missionary work is recognized as being of public utility by the Ministry of Religion. According to politicians from the South-East, aware of the executive's intention, Phanuel Pierre would be the ideal choice to enhance the image of the creative city.
